
Denver Chapter - Inaugural Event

The Forum for Expatriate Management is pleased to announce the formation of a new chapter in Denver, CO serving the greater Denver area. The Denver Chapter is headed by Thom Kessler, Regional Director of Sales for the Cartwright Companies.
Our inaugural event will be held on the morning of June 8th, hosted by Jason Exley of TeleTech Industries. The topic is Global Security for Expats and Business Travelers and our speaker will be Johan Selle, Director of Business Resiliency from iJet, based in Annapolis, MD. The agenda will be: continental breakfast from 8:30 - 9:00, Johan from 9:00 - 10:30, and additional networking at the conclusion.
Agenda topics include:
• Global Security's role in new country entries
• Evacuation strategies during crisis
• The future of the volatile Middle East
• Precautionary measures companies should be taking to be prepared in today's world
• How to communicate securely (electronically) with expats and foreign business travelers to keep them updated.
Johan Selle
Director, Business Resiliency
iJET Intelligent Risk Systems
Johan Selle is iJET’s Director of Business Resiliency, where he provides program management, consulting, benchmarking and assessments to help organizations achieve business resiliency. Johan has more than 24 years experience in the intelligence industry. He spent 15 years with the South African National Defense Force, where he specialized in overt collection of information in Africa and was an intelligence liaison officer. During his military career, he served four years at the South African Embassy in Washington,D.C. and played a key role in coordinating collection and acting upon human source intelligence collection. He also served as Director for Africa at Open Source Solutions. Johan started with iJET in 2000 in iJET’s North American Operations Center where he eventually led the daily watch operations and helped establish iJET’s global response network. He holds a BA in Information Science and is fluent in German, Dutch and Flemish.
